Jaguars win postponed season opener

Ridgeland-Hardeeville wins postponed season opener

HARDEEVILLE, SC (WTOC) - It took a few extra days, but Ridgeland-Hardeeville got their season opening win Monday night.

The Jaguars took down Woodland 27-14 in a game postponed from Friday night due to lightning.

It was a 14-14 game at halftime, but the Jags were able to shut down the Wolverines after the break. It's also the first win in Hardeeville for Jaguar head coach Will Lampkin.

The Jaguars are 1-0 with the win, but now have a quick turnaround before Friday's rivalry game at Estill.
