The Federal Emergency Management Agency is hiring temporary workers to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The jobs are all in the Gulf Coast area.

These are the positions available:

General Administrative Support $15.00 per hour

Community Relations Field Officers $15.00 per hour

Computer Specialists $30.00 per hour

Documentation Specialists $18.00 per hour

Equal Rights Specialist $30.00 per hour

Funds Control Technician $15.00 per hour

GIS Specialists $25.00 per hour

Inventory/Supply Technicians $11.00 per hour

Mobile Home Specialists $13.00 per hour

Reports Technicians $15.00 per hour

Switchboard Operators $11.00 per hour

Travel Voucher Clerks $15.00 per hour

The jobs are temporary and require that you be available to work 12 hour shifts (typically 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) seven days a week.
