Missing South Carolina Child Found, Sister Charged

Ten-year-old Shantelle Hines is safe after an ordeal across the Southeast. They found her, with her 16-year-old sister Keonte, in a motel in Forsyth outside Atlanta.

It all started yesterday morning in Spartanburg. Investigators there say Keonte Hines beat their grandmother, 55-year-old Mae Allie Hardy, then took off, taking the ten-year-old with her.

They issued an Amber Alert and got dozens of tips, finally turning up the girls in Forsyth last night.

Both girls are fine, but they're charging Keonte with assault and battery and grand larceny, with kidnapping charges pending.
