Savannah-Chatham police are investigating the case of a dead body found in the median of Oglethorpe Avenue Saturday morning. Savannah-Chatham police first called it a suspicious death, but now their investigation has ruled the death of 47-year-old Edna Mae Brown a hit-and-run vehicular homicide.
Someone found Brown's body just before 8am Saturday in front of the Greyhound bus station on Oglethorpe Avenue. The GBI crime lab released the autopsy results yesterday, which revealed she died from injuries consistent with those caused by a motor vehicle.
