ATLANTA - Pitcher Jorge Sosa has agreed to a two-point-two million dollar, one-year deal with the Atlanta Braves. The Braves acquired the 28-year-old right-hander before last season in a seemingly minor deal with Tampa Bay.
But, after starting out in the bullpen, he claimed a spot in the starting rotation and went 13-and-3 with a two-point-55 E-R-A.
Sosa was the final Atlanta player still in arbitration.
He had asked for two-point-six million, while the Braves countered with an offer of one-point-eight million.
