Judges in two counties have denied bond for a Bacon County woman accused of killing her three-year-old adopted son. Investigators now say the child died of multiple blunt-force injuries.
The GBI says Mary Jean King killed Ahmad King in Bacon County and hid his body in Appling County. She claimed he was kidnapped from her car in the Jesup Wal-Mart parking lot.
Lawmen and volunteers searched three days before they found his body in a wooded area.
King must now ask a Superior Court judge to consider granting bail.
