Flight Schedules Getting Back to Normal

At the Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport today, only two outbound flights had to be canceled because of weather in the Northeast. More than 2,000 people departed on time, and by late this afternoon all flights resumed their normal schedules.

Some were forced to stay in the Coastal Empire for an extra day, but they weren't that upset about it. "It's a little cold but I'm coping with it," said one traveler. "We golfed for four days and we're looking forward to getting back, but it was nice being down here."

Although flight schedules are getting back to normal, it's always a good idea to call before you go to the airport.
