Marines Return from Iraq

More than 150 Beaufort Marines are back home with family and friends tonight. Marines with the All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 3-32 and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 31 received a hero's welcome. They returned this afternoon after serving a seven-month deployment in Iraq.

These Marines say this homecoming say is better than they ever imagined. "It's the best feeling in the world," said Staff Sgt. Kozascuggs. "It's the best."

"It feels a lot better, better than living with a couple of guys," said Sgt. Ivan Wheeler. "I got my wife and kids back."

While in Iraq, the Moonlighters supported security and stability operations. The MALS-31 group provided maintenance, supplies and ordnance to the aviation squadron at Camp Al Asad.
