Major changes could be made after tomorrow's Savannah-Chatham County school board meeting. The board has several items on the agenda. They could make decisions on the future of bus company Laidlaw, school uniforms and restructuring of central office.
Board members says they expect final results as far as uniforms go and possibly a final decision on the Laidlaw contract.
"They're all focused on student achievement--and uniforms will be a positive impact to school district--as well as the Laidlaw situation," said board member Lori Brady. "We have to transport our children safely and in a timely manor."
The school board meets tomorrow at 1:30pm for its informal meeting, and 3:30pm for the formal meeting. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Whitney Administrative Complex at 2 Laura St., off President Street in Savannah.
