Missing Soldier's Family Hires Investigator

Robert Hornbeck hasn't been seen since Sunday, April 16th. Robert Hornbeck hasn't been seen since Sunday, April 16th.

The family of a missing Fort Benning soldier has hired a private investigator to help find him. Robert Hornbeck disappeared without a trace on Sunday, April 16th; however, his family and friends are not giving up the search.

The family is hoping people who are hesitant about contacting authorities might feel more comfortable talking with a private investigator.

His family, who are in town from Michigan , are still looking for him. His father says he will stay in Savannah until he gets answers.

"As long as I can feel like I'm doing good, I'm going to be here," said Eric Hornbeck. "It could be tomorrow, it could be a month, I don't have those answers. However, if we can keep the search going, I will stay."

The family is also offering a ten-thousand dollar reward to anyone who can help locate their son.
