A shooting on Savannah's streets sends one man to the hospital. Police say three men in a passenger car pulled alongside a van and started shooting.
A van pulled up to the stop sign on Montgomery and West 41st street when another passenger vehicle with three men inside pulled along side the van and at least two people started to open fire, wounding one of the men in the van. A silver Pontiac Grand Prix with a
Florida license plate occupied by 3 black males fired multiple shots injuring the passenger in a maroon conversion van. The injured victim, Kareem Johnson, 29 was transported to Memorial Medical Center with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his right arm.
Police believe this wasn't a random shooting and the individuals do know each other. Police say the two men inside the van are not cooperating with investigators. The driver of the conversion van Ronald Mack, 35 was involved in a similar incident at the corner of Florance & 51st street on April 22.
Police are on the lookout for a silver Pontiac Grand-Am or Grand-Prix. If you have any information on the incident contact police or crime stoppers.
