It was an exciting day for the 148th Bravo Company of the 48th Brigade. On Saturday, the troops, their families and the community got together to celebrate their homecoming at the Hinesville Armory.
Members of the 48th Brigade say it's just good to be home and feel appreciated.
"You feel loved by others," explained E4 Shantell Nurse. "They could have been anywhere else, but they decided to come out here and throw this (party)."
After spending more than a year in Iraq, members of the 48th Brigade are now getting back to their normal lives.
