Savannah-Chatham police have now charged a suspect in at least two of Monday's shootings with murder. Police had already connected 19-year-old Marquis Young with Monday's shootout on Waters Avenue and Henry Street, which left a motorist wounded and a stolen wrecked SUV.

But after yesterday's early-morning capture of Young on Savannah's westside, detectives began finding other crimes they say he committed.

Investigators say Young is the man who shot and killed 18-year-old Ramone Bowers on Duffy Street on Monday. Police also say Young robbed a street vendor on Sunday and shot at him. The day before, they say he was part of a group that robbed three people, then took their car for a joyride after forcing one of the victims into the trunk.

Young was supposed to face a judge today, but the arraignment has been delayed till tomorrow.

Now one of the department's top priorities is tracking down Jawaun Lee, who has also been linked to the Waters Avenue shootout.

They're also looking for Sammy Lee Gadson, Jr. Police say he shot 21-year-old Tony Hill on Monday. Gadson and Lee are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about either suspect is urged to call CrimeStoppers at 234.2020.
