Several teens are behind bars today after a joint effort by the Brunswick and Glynn County Police Departments.

Police charged William Buggs, 16, as an adult for the murder of Mario Julian-Antonio in October. He faces several other charges, including carjacking and possession of a firearm.

Police arrested five other teens for robbery, three for their involvement in the robbery of a juvenile at a Brunswick recreation center. Police say 18-year-old Travis Baggs and two 16-year-old accomplices hit the juvenile, then stole his wallet and cell phone. All three have been charged with robbery by force.

Two other teens, Ledell Ellis and Calvin Grovner, Jr., face armed robbery and kidnapping charges. Police say they forced an 18-year-old into a car, then robbed the teen of money and a cell phone at gunpoint.

The victim was let go unharmed, but did remember the make and model of the car. Police caught up with Ellis and Grovner minutes later and made the arrests.
