Children are happy to receive presents from soldiers.
Some local soldiers back from Iraq are helping make Christmas better for local kids.
Members of the 3rd I.D. visited Tonwsley Chapel Sunday in support of the Angel Tree. They handed out bags of gifts to needy kids who may not get anything else this Christmas. The soldiers say they are happy to give something back to the community who supports them.
Samuel Middleton from the 3rd I.D. explains: "it's important to us because the kids really are unfortunate and because we want to show them that we appreciate everything they do for us both in wartime and peacetime".
Dozens of kids received gift bags full of presents.
