SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - Rebecca Rowsey scored 15 points and Number 11 Georgia's defense forced 21 Savannah State turnovers as the Lady Bulldogs romped to a 75-54 win Friday night at Tiger Arena.

Tasha Humphrey and Cori Chambers each scored 14 points for the well-balanced Lady Bulldogs (8-1) and Megan Darrah added 11. Ivy Smith led Savannah State (5-4) with 21 points.  Former Beach star Christy Marshall returned home.  The freshman had 5 points and 2 rebounds.

It was only the third meeting between the two schools. Georgia crushed the Lady Tigers 106-34 last season in Athens. The Lady Bulldogs, who dropped out of the top 10 after a 70-62 upset loss to Middle Tennessee last week, return home to host TCU on Sunday.
