South Carolina governor Mark Sanford is reminding folks in the Palmetto State that our country is still at war, and our neighbors continue to lose their lives. He honored fallen troops from South Carolina just before his state of the state address last night.
"Whether you agree or disagree with what is going on in the Middle East, in the last year since I spoke here, nine more of our fellow South Carolinians have died in efforts to bring greater freedoms to that part of the world. The service and sacrifice of men and women in uniform should serve as a constant reminder to all of us that freedom is not free. "
