It was a big day for Savannah in Atlanta. Hundreds of local business and government leaders spent the day at our state capitol for Savannah-Chatham Day.
Gov. Sonny Perdue, Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle and many other high-level state officials were on hand.
The Savannah-Area Chamber of Commerce arranges these meetings each year, in part to advance issues and push for funding for local projects.
Our Sonny Dixon emceed meetings at the Capitol, and then the large delegation headed across the street for the traditional Savannah-Chatham Seafood Fest.
