A boat fire in Lazaretto Creek sent smoke into the sky. The 70-foot shrimp boat called the Lisa Suzanne was heavily damaged.

According to officials, the crew and owner were welding on an outrigger when they decided to break for lunch. Something inside the cabin ignited; when firefighters arrived, the cabin was fully engulfed in flames.

According to fisherman John Stein, the boat didn't look good. "The pilot house, the bunks, everything would have to be rebuilt," he said. "Then you don't know how much damage the heat did to the steel."

No one was hurt in the fire.
