Low Country Lawyers Band Together to Help High School Girls

Do you have some prom or bridesmaid dresses that are still hanging in your closet and you're not sure what to do with them. Well, the South Carolina Bar, Young Lawyers Division can help put them to good use.

They're collecting gently used ball gowns and accessories for high school juniors and seniors in Beaufort County. It's all part of the Cinderella Project. All the dresses collected will be set up in a boutique and given out free of charge

"Going to prom is really a pivotal moment in a young person's life and everyone should have the opportunity to do that so hopefully this will also those young women who might not have other wise been able to o to prom, allow them the means to go," said 14th Circuit South Carolina Bar representative for the Young Lawyer's Division, Andrea Easler.

They'll be collecting dresses and accessories through March 1 at:

The dresses will be available at the Cinderella Shop, March 3 at the Spotted Dog Marketplace at 2127 boundary Street in Beaufort, SC. It will be open from 9am to 1pm.
