Children from the Coastal Empire are reaching out to the troops at Hunter Army Airfield.
Members of the Bnai Brith Jacob Synagogue baked and packed kosher treats for troops heading to Iraq. More than thirty kids showed up to bake cookies and make cards for the soldiers. They made packages full of treats that are suitable for Jewish and Non Jewish soldiers. It's an opportunity for children to show their appreciation to the troops.
