SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH until 9 PM
A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for all the counties in SE Georgia until 9 PM EST, Tuesday.
Currently, a line of very strong with some severe, thunderstorms is around I-75. There are a large amount of lightning strikes associated with this line.
These storms will produce the chance for strong and damaging winds, large hail, lightning strikes and brief periods of heavy downpours.
Storms will be entering the western portion of our area around 4 PM, central portions (Sylvania-Statesboro-Glennville-Jesup) by 5 PM and the greater Savannah area around 6 PM then the Hilton Head shortly after.
