New City Record

Records tumbled Tuesday night at Hunter Lanes in Savannah.  A new city record was set for 4-man teams as Bill Jackson shot 684... Ollie Sharpe added a 724 series... Robert McBride rolled a 716 series... and Arnold Smalley led the way with a 750 series.  That's a combined score of 2,874... breaking the old record by more than 40 pins.

Also at Hunter on Tuesday, Chaney Gary rolled his first perfect 300 game and added games of 201 and 203 for a 704 series.

That lanes are probably still smoking!
