Church Holds First Service Following Arson

People were pulling together Wednesday night after a horrible crime.

Someone tried to burn down the Liberty City Church of Christ over the weekend.

Wednesday, members of the Savannah congregation held their first service since the fire.

Church members came out to show their support and help each other through what is obviously a tough time.

"No matter what happens to our building," said Larry Daniels, who goes to church there, "We always will come together, whether it's here or anywhere. We are the church, and the church is our people, so we'll come together no matter what happens."

There are rewards being offered for the arrest of the person responsible for the fire.

If you have any information call the state arson hotline at 1-800-282-5804.
