Everyone is getting ready for Saint Patrick's Day, including the Lions Club of Savannah. This afternoon, the club kicked of the celebrations with a special luncheon at Johnny Harris on Victory Drive.

Their guest of honor, Saint Patrick's Day parade grand marshal John Burke.

The club's president, Welby Stayton, says they also have some serious business: raising money for tornado victims in Americus, Georgia.

"The Lions Club of Georgia is raising money and we got a $10,000 grant from Lions Club International, and clubs all over Georgia are doing fundraising to send money to the American Red Cross for tornado victims," he said.

If you are interested in donating money, you can contact the Lions Club of Savannah at 354.4242.
