Volunteers Already Planning for Easter

St. Patrick's Day may be next weekend, but Easter is right around the corner. One group in Reidsville hopes to keep a tradition going there. They plan to hold their 27th annual Easter egg hunt the Saturday before Easter.

The group set up its banners along Highway 280 to let everyone know the preparations are underway.

The group hosts more than a thousand children each year from Tattnall and surrounding counties, and the group is looking for other volunteers who'd like to join them.

"We need everybody we can get," explained organizer Linton Brown. "It takes about two hours to hide all those eggs and the kids find them in just 30 minutes. So it is a lot of work."

If you'd like to help, you can contact Brown at 912.557.1817 or email him at eefoundationinc@yahoo.com.
