A man convicted of murdering the manager of a Church's Fried Chicken in Savannah lost his last appeal with the Georgia Supreme Court.
Two years ago, a Chatham County jury convicted Derek Horne and the judge sentenced him to three consecutive life sentences.
Horne and his friend Charles Hill robbed Sean Abraham at the Church's Fried Chicken restaurant on West Bay Street on February 7, 2004. When Abraham tried to get away, Horne chased him down and executed him.
Today the state supreme court upheld Horne's conviction. They upheld Hill's conviction last month.
