72nd Annual Savannah Tour of Homes and Gardens

Many people who traveled to Savannah this week are getting to tour some of the most beautiful homes and gardens in the area.

Today through Sunday is the 72nd annual Savannah Tour of Homes and Gardens. It's sponsored by the Episcopal Women of Christ Church and the Historic Savannah Foundation.

Today dozens of people signed up for tours and got to walk through several downtown homes. Other tours include Savannah's squares, museums and homes in the Ardsley Park neighborhood.

Bridget Garden is the chair person for the Tour of Homes and Gardens. "I think they thoroughly enjoy being in the south and our southern hospitality and our gracious homeowners letting folks come in and walk through and see all their treasures."

The money raised from the tours is split between religious ministries and historical preservation.
