Girl Scouts Give Crayons

The Girl Scouts are hard at work making things better and brighter for some Savannah children.

Troops 81 and 246 from the Chesapeake Bay Girl Scout Council presented 600 boxes of crayons to the Savannah Fire Department, The American Red Cross and Memorial Health University. The girls spent the last year collecting crayons by setting out collection boxes in their communities to encourage people to donate.

The donation is part of the girls' service project. They say it's just one way they can give something back to the community.
