One Canadian man is helping the American Cancer Society raise awareness about the disease and raise money to find a cure, one mile at a time.
Michael Bressmer of Ontario is biking across America and he is starting the trek right here in Savannah. "I want to do it for cancer, to fight cancer, and I just want to make a big difference and do everything I can to try and work towards saving as many lives as possible," he said.
Michael's mother also has cancer and he wanted to do something adventurous to help her as well. He plans to take off from Tybee Island pier tomorrow morning.
