AmVets Post 70 in Port Royal, South Carolina is collecting new and slightly used DVDs and CDs for troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan through Operation DVD.

"We want to take care of our troops and provide them safe entertainment because they don't have a whole lot to do in Iraq and Afghanistan on their free time, so we want to bring them a little piece of home to them," said AmVets' Stork Schwartz.

You can drop new or slightly used DVDs and CDs off at Waterfront Park tonight during the Beaufort Water Festival or at AmVets Post 70 in Port Royal.

If you need to make special accommodations, contact Stork Schwarts at 843.252.3373.
