"You just got to go 100 miles per hour, the train is moving down the tracks and you got to jump on and get ready to roll." says GSU senior Dusty Reddick.
All aboard the Georgia Southern Express. This team is ready to ride.
"I came to Georgia Southern because I wanted to win." adds Reddick.
"There's a lot of pressure around here to succeed." says left tackle, Dane Jensen, "That's why a lot of us are here, because we like that."
The countdown to training camp is dwindling down. Before you know it game day will be here. But as the old cliché goes, games are won and lost in the off season.
"The summer is when the team really comes together as a unit, every body's in here together, you got 60, 70, 80 guys in here at one time or a day working out. We're out there throwing, passing, having passing practice, it's a good time to get some team unity and get everybody on the same page." says Dusty Reddick.
"The whole idea behind the off season is to get better as a team." adds Jensen.
"This is where wins are made at, the wins and losses are made in here." Says Senior Linebacker, Cory Clemons, "And outside running and everything, our strength coach is getting us ready getting us right we're just working hard so we can win this season."
And 2 a days is when the winning begins.
"Every body's bought in to program real well, everyone's excited, and that's what we're planning on doing, everyone's on the train rolling." says Reddick.
Perhaps this season, GSU will be the little engine that could.
