There's been another major recall on toys. Everything from Polly Pocket Dolls to Batman action figures are being removed from store shelves today because Mattel says the recalled toys could contain lead based paint.

Just a little more than a week ago, Fisher Price recalled almost a million toys because they contained lead based paint. Those toys included Elmo and Dora the Explorer among others.

One daycare owner explained how she keeps her kids safe. Inside the Tiny Blossoms Learning Center, some of the little ones are fast asleep while others are busy with their favorite activity.

Center director Linda Polite takes care of 18 children every day. "Oh I love these kids, been doing it all my life," said Polite.

And she treats these children like her own, being attentive and constantly monitoring everything they say and do. Including what toys they are playing with, especially now.

News that Mattel, the world's largest toy maker, is recalling millions of Chinese-made toy cars & action figures has Polite concerned. But she's not worried. She says you won't find any of those toys here. "I make sure that none of these recalled items are on my shelves. I pull up all of these items on the recall list and I check all of my toys daily," said Polite.

A lot of parents agree with the way Polite deals with her kids and the toys she allows them to play with. "That's somebody looking out for you and your best interest. Where she could easily sit there and say, I'm not sure if these are recalled or not. She's taken that extra step to look for that for your child. So for me that's a big deal," said father of three Steve Perez.

And one Polite doesn't take lightly. "It's best for my kids, I want whatever is best for my kids," said Polite.
