Dog Company Holds Memorial Service

Coming together to honor the lives of lost war comrades.

That's what took place in Savannah's Emmet Park earlier today as the Dog Company, United States Marine Corps Reserve held their annual memorial service. Longtime members were on hand to honor their fallen servicemen who were killed in the Korean War between 1950-1951. One member said even though this was a memorial service he enjoyed seeing old time war buddies and friends.

"It's just a feeling that even after 57 years you never lose because you have the close comradery with these people," said Dog Company member Jerry Gill.

Dog Company meetings are held the second Monday of each month at the Fairmont Restaurant.
