Volunteers Needed for Special Therapy Program

You can help local disabled youngsters climb to new heights, just by letting them take a ride. It's called Horsin' Around, a therapy riding program based in Bloomingdale.

Kids with physical limitations get to ride horses, not just for enjoyment, but for physical therapy. The riding stretches their muscles and helps them regain their balance.

Thirty volunteers are needed to head to help give these kids a hand. But you have to be certified to help.

There are two training sessions, the first on Saturday morning at 9am, the second, Tuesday night at 7pm.
