Frolicky Furry Fling

The Senior Citizens' complex turned into an art gallery and auction house, all to help the pet rescue organization "Save a Life."

Up for auction at The Frolicky Furry Fling, images of pets "Save a Life" has rescued and placed in new homes.

Andrea Rountree, with Savannah Arts Association said, "We have about 90 beautiful paintings that members of the Savannah Art Association have painted, and many are of the fosters that Save a Life has saved over the years, so they all have stories."

Save a Life is celebrating 40 years. Founder Deborah Friedman says they've saved thousands of pets over the years, from the streets, from animal control, even from owners who could no longer care for them. The money from tonight's event will help pay for those efforts and the group's spay and neuter program to try to control the pet population.
