Drive-Through Flu Shots Tomorrow in Chatham County

The Chatham County Health Department is making it very easy to get your flu shot. You don't even have to get out of your car.

Tomorrow, October 10, they will offer drive-through flu shots to anyone who wants one.

The health department has offered this in the past years, but only for disabled patients.

All you have to do is fill out some paper work and roll up your sleeve. Doctors hope it will take the fuss out of getting your flu shot.

"We've found people had a lot of complaints about parking, appointments, about waiting and a lot of places have been using this for years," said Dr. Michael Adams. "We've found it seems to limit all the waiting time and hassles and headaches associated with getting a flu vaccine so we are very excited about offering it tomorrow."

The drive-through flu shot is tomorrow at the National Guard Armory in Savannah, 1248 Eisenhower Drive. The hours are 8am to 6pm and is open to anyone.
