SAVANNAH, GA -- That's it, the 2007 regular season is in the books for the prepsters on the gridiron. Which means this is the last week for the Savannah Quarterback club to hand out trophies to the back and lineman of the week.
For Savannah Christian's Jamie Lindley, they were just saving the best for last.
Lindley is a jack of all traits, he plays defensive back, split end and he punts and kicks.
And he's also taking home a trophy from the savannah quarterback club for his efforts on the gridiron.
Says Lindley, "It's great to receive the award I never though I would, I play a bunch of different positions so it's hard to excel at one but fortunately I did well on defense and got back of the week."
Lindley not the only one going home with the hardware from the savannah quarterback club, jenkins star and future gator, chaz sutton also earning weekly honors.
#9 has been a duel threat for the warriors this season, on offense and on defense. And this week the q-b club took notice.
"it was a real big honor to come out here and hang out with the old guys that have been around football for a long time and to get to talk football with," Sutton adds, "it's a really big honor and i'm glady accepting this award."
