ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - Knowshon Moreno ran for 124 yards to help lift eighth-ranked Georgia over Number-22 Kentucky.
Georgia's defense held the Wildcats to their lowest output of the season, despite spotting them a 10-0 lead. The Bulldogs overcame four turnovers to get their ninth win in 11 games and clinch at least a tie for first in the SEC's Eastern Division.
Georgia is 6-and-2 in conference play and will face top-ranked LSU in the December 1st title game in nearby Atlanta, if Tennessee loses to Kentucky next week. The Volunteers kept their hopes alive with a come-from-behind 25-24 victory over Vanderbilt. Tennessee holds a tiebreaker advantage over Georgia.
The Wildcats, who didn't have any hope of reaching the title game but were trying to win and claim at least a share of the division crown, drop to 7-and-4. That includes a 3-and-4 mark in SEC play.
