STATESBORO, Ga. (AP) - Louis Graham led with 16 points as 13 of 15 players who saw action scored for Georgia Southern in a 93-78 victory over Fort Valley State Monday night.
It was the seventh victory in a row for the Eagles (7-1) who dropped their season opener at Florida State. Willie Powers added 15 points for the Eagles and Antoine Johnson had 14 points in 13 minutes.
Martrez Scott led the Wildcats (1-3) with 18 points while Desmond Williams added 12 and Tony Omotayo 11. Fort Valley stayed with the Eagles for half of the first half before GSU pulled away to a 50-36 halftime lead.
Southern stretched its lead to 30 points in the second half before the Wildcats rallied against reserves.
