BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Clifton Smith rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns to lead Fresno State over Georgia Tech 40-28 in the Humanitarian Bowl.

Tom Brandstater threw for one score and ran for another as the Bulldogs scored on six straight possessions for a 34-14, third-quarter lead.

Fresno State rolled up 572 yards, the most allowed this season by the Yellow Jackets. The Bulldogs finish 9-and-4, while Georgia Tech ends up 7-and-6.
