AUGUSTA, GA (WTOC) - Since Thursday night's explosion, 32 people have been rushed to local hospitals. Officials with the Chatham Emergency Management Agency said 14 people were treated and released. Several other victims were flown to burn centers in Augusta, Georgia and remain in critical condition, although doctors at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center were encouraged that some may soon be able to go home.

"We have the 17 in critical condition, three in serious," said Dr. Fred Mullins. "We should upgrade the three by later today, and hopefully by tomorrow we'll have one of our first discharges from the hospital to home."
