Third GSU Student Dies from Crash

STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) - A third Georgia Southern coed has died from injuries suffered in car crash which occurred Sunday.

Jamie Carter died Wednesday night at Memorial Health University Hospital. Her Kappa Delta sorority sisters Melissa Eustice and Jessica Fulmer died in the crash. (See: Campus Mourns, Troopers Search for Car in I-16 Fatality.)

The girls were on Interstate-16 when, according to witnesses, a white Ford Taurus veered into their lane, causing the girls to crash.

GSU students gathered Monday night to mourn their friends.
