PORT WENTWORTH, GA (WTOC) - Pastor Dennis Morris of Bible Baptist teamed up with fellow church members Wednesday to line the road in front of the Imperial Sugar refinery with American flags.
Morris says each flag honors the victims and their families. Morris was there the night of the explosion, helping comfort the eight families of the trapped workers.
"A lot of times I just listened, watching, praying, crying with them if need be," he said.
Morris also explained that several times that night, he used the power of prayer to help the families remember the joyful past times.
