1 egg
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. milk
1 c. minced clams
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp.onion powder
1/2 c. veg. oil.
1. Beat egg and gradually beat in flour. Slowly stir in milk, clams, salt, pepper and onion powder. With hands shape mixture into 2 inch diameter patties.
2. In a med. skillet heat oil over med.-high heat until hot. Fry patties in the hot oil until golden brown. Place cooked fritters on paper towels to soak up excess oil.
Yield: 4 Servings
