SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The parade is finally making its way down Bull Street. Music from bagpipers is filling the air as they march by Smooth.
Outside, spectators are excited to see everything the parade has to offer. Crystal Higgins has been coming to parade for years and wanted to have a good spot on the parade route. "We've lived here for five years, but have been coming here for six," she said.
Jocelyn Calvo is anxious to see her favorite part of the parade march by. "The favorite thing is when the people go by and I see the Army," she said.
But Savannahians aren't the only ones enjoying the festivities. Jeremy Drallos and Joshua Olen are here all the way from Sacramento, California.
Outside of Smooth, the Savannah City Council float just drove by with mayor Otis Johnson waving to the crowd followed by the Beaufort High marching band.
Some Irish dancers just marched by, clapping and waving to spectators, and of course it wouldn't be Saint Patrick's Day without the famous Keller's Flea Market cow and pirate ship.
Keep checking back as we're about half through the parade here and don't forget to check out our Mass and Parade Image Gallery of highlight photos from today's festivities.
