From Doctors Hospital:
Augusta, GA - Medical staff at Doctors Hospital is reporting good news that two of the Imperial Sugar patients, who received treatment on the Rehab Unit, were discharged today.
The Joseph M. Still Burn Center originally received 20 patients injured in the Imperial Sugar explosion on February 7th. Three Imperial Sugar employees remain in critical condition and one in fair condition in the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, and two in the Doctors Hospital Rehab Unit.
A press conference updating the progress of the Imperial Sugar burn patients and their long term recovery will be held Tues., April 15, 11 a.m. in the Doctors Hospital Board Room.
