Just before 4pm yesterday, someone called police claiming to know where 23-year-old Antwain Singleton could be found.
Chatham County and Savannah police officers, along with the city K-9 unit, surrounded the house in the 300 block of W. 54th Street, where Singleton was hiding out. When they said they'd send the dogs in, Singleton surrendered.
Singleton is charged with murder. Investigators say on the morning of June 26 he shot Lewis Oliver at the Oak Forest apartments. This morning, Singleton's in the Chatham County jail, where he'll be arraigned Wednesday morning.
