The fate of the City Market Parking Garage was on the minds of many at a public meeting last night. It was the first of three meetings planned to talk about possibly restoring Ellis Square.
The city of Savannah hosted the meeting at the civic center. They shared information about the history of the area and the possibilities for the future.
"I think the best solution is to cut the levels by putting in a underground garage and adding a park on top," said concerned resident Paul Robinson.
The next two meetings will be held tonight and tomorrow starting at 6pm at the Savannah Civic Center.
