Homicide detectives arrested 17-year-old Norman Simpson and 20-year-old Roberto Robineau late last night.
The bodies of Thomas O'Hayer III and William "Kenny" Carlton were found dead in a house they shared on Cindy Street the morning of July 26. An acquaintance of the men found the bodies and was taken in as a witness. While detectives are still not discussing the details of the crimes, they have determined that the homicide was, in part, the result of a drug deal gone bad.
Simpson and Robineau are now charged with two counts of murder and have been taken to the Chatham County Jail to await an arraignment hearing on the charges.
